Welcome to FlashThreads! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FlashThreads via our Android mobile application and related services (the "Application") provided by MyrivicsIQ ("we," "us," or "our").

Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account, accessing, or using our Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you use the Application on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

If the user is under 18, these Terms are accepted by the user's parent or lawful guardian. The guardian is responsible for the minor's activity and compliance with these Terms.

2. User Accounts

• Registration: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and all activity under your account.
• Authentication: We may use Firebase Authentication and third-party sign-in (e.g. Google).
• Notification: Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Children's Use

The Application may be used for learning and professional development. Users under 18 may only use the Application with parental or guardian consent and supervision.

4. Plans, Payments, and Refunds

FlashThreads follows a freemium model:

• Free: Manual decks, review, cloud sync, and limited AI generations per month.
• Spark (paid): Unlimited AI deck generation and related premium features, billed via Razorpay in INR (monthly or multi-month plans as shown in the app).

4.1 Try Before You Buy

The Free plan lets you use FlashThreads without payment. We encourage you to evaluate the app on the Free plan before purchasing Spark. Spark purchases made through the Application (Razorpay) are generally non-refundable once access is granted, except for billing errors, activation failures, or where required by law. 4.2 Third-Party Purchases

If we offer purchases through a third-party platform in the future (e.g. Google Play billing), refund requests are subject to that platform's policies.

4.3 Subscription Duration

Spark access is granted for the period shown at checkout (e.g. 30 days for monthly, 365 days for annual). Subscriptions do not auto-renew through FlashThreads unless explicitly stated in the app at the time of purchase. When a paid period expires, your account returns to the Free plan.

4.4 Taxes and Invoices

Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated. Where applicable, a PDF invoice may be emailed after successful payment.

5. License to Use the Application

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Application for your personal, non-commercial learning purposes, in accordance with these Terms.

6. User Conduct and Restrictions

You agree that you will not:

• Use the Application for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Upload or generate content that is unlawful, harmful, infringing, or sexually explicit.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or model prompts from the Application.
• Attempt to bypass AI quotas, App Check, or payment systems.
• Scrape, bulk-export, or redistribute Application content except through intended export features.
• Introduce malware or interfere with the Application's operation.

Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

7. User Content

• Your ownership: You retain ownership of decks and flashcards you create.
• License to us: You grant MyrivicsIQ a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Application.
• Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your content and ensuring you have rights to imported materials (PDFs, documents, etc.).

8. Our Content and Intellectual Property

The Application, including software, design, trademarks, and default materials, is owned by MyrivicsIQ or its licensors. AI-generated flashcard content is provided "as-is" for learning purposes; we do not warrant accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any exam or professional certification.

9. Third-Party Services

The Application integrates with services such as Firebase, Google AI, and Razorpay. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

10. Disclaimers of Warranty

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYRIVICSIQ DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

AI-generated content is supplementary learning material only and is not a substitute for official curricula, instructors, or professional advice. You use the Application and rely on its content at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYRIVICSIQ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR SPARK IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyrivicsIQ from claims arising from your use of the Application, your violation of these Terms, or your user content.

13. Termination

• By us: We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms or for other legitimate reasons.
• By you: You may delete your account in Settings or contact contactus@myrivicsiq.com.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
